Last updated: April 2026
Precimetal Cast Pvt. Ltd. ("Precimetal", "we", "us") respects the privacy of visitors to precimetalcast.com. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect through this website, how we use and protect it, and the rights available to you under applicable Indian data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). This policy applies only to information collected through this website. It does not cover offline interactions, supplier onboarding, employment records, or business correspondence outside the website.
1. Who We Are
Precimetal Cast Pvt. Ltd. is a precision investment casting manufacturer with its registered office at A-33 Pariseema, C G Road, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380009. For questions about this policy or the personal data we hold, please write to us at the contact address in Section 14. In the language of the DPDP Act, Precimetal is the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected via this website.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information that you actively provide to us through website forms, and a limited amount of technical information that is collected automatically when you visit the site. From the Request for Quote (RFQ) form we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, country, role, quantity requirements, target industry, project timeline, message, and any drawing or specification file you choose to upload. From the Careers application form we collect your name, email, phone number, position applied for, years of experience, message, and your uploaded resume. From site analytics we automatically receive your IP address, device and browser information, referring URL, pages viewed and time spent — collected via Google Analytics 4 in aggregated, non-identifying form.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use RFQ information to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations, and, where a commercial relationship follows, to fulfil your order. We use Careers information to evaluate your application, contact you about the role you applied for, and retain your profile for future openings if suitable. We use aggregated analytics to understand how visitors use the site, to improve content and navigation, and to measure the effectiveness of our search visibility. We do not use website information for automated decision-making, profiling for direct marketing, or any purpose beyond those stated above without your consent.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Under the DPDP Act, we process personal data on the basis of your consent (given by submitting a form) and for the legitimate uses permitted under Section 7 of the Act. When you submit an enquiry, your submission constitutes consent to us processing that data for the specific purpose stated on the form. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it at any time by writing to us at the address in Section 14. Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
This website uses first-party cookies and comparable technologies to enable core functionality and to measure usage. Specifically: Google Analytics 4 sets analytics cookies to measure aggregated site usage. Google Tag Manager loads and manages these tracking scripts. Cloudflare Turnstile places a session cookie during form submission to distinguish humans from bots — this cookie contains no identifying data and expires when you close your browser. We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may prevent form submissions from completing.
6. Third-Party Services and Processors
To operate this website we rely on the following processors, each of whom accesses personal data only to perform the specific service for which they are engaged: Vercel Inc. (website hosting, USA), Neon Inc. (database for form submissions, USA), Resend Inc. (transactional email delivery, USA), Sanity.io (content management for the blog, various regions), Cloudflare Inc. (spam protection via Turnstile and DNS, various regions), Google LLC (analytics and tag management via GA4 and GTM, USA and various regions). Each processor is bound by their published data processing terms. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
7. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We share your information only with the processors listed above (for the purpose of providing the service), with our internal sales and HR teams to respond to your enquiry or application, and where required by law, court order, or regulatory request in India or the jurisdictions where our processors operate. In the event of a business restructuring, merger, or acquisition, your data may transfer to the successor entity under equivalent protection commitments; you will be notified of any such change via a notice on this website.
8. International Data Transfers
Several of our processors operate infrastructure outside India. When you submit information through this website, it may therefore be transferred to and stored in the United States, the European Union, or other jurisdictions where our processors host data. Such transfers are made only to countries and processors that meet standards comparable to those under the DPDP Act. Precimetal remains accountable for personal data even where processing takes place outside India.
9. Data Security
We use industry-standard technical and organisational safeguards to protect the information you provide, including TLS encryption for all data in transit, encrypted storage at rest with our database processor, restricted internal access on a need-to-know basis, and Cloudflare Turnstile spam and abuse protection on all forms. No online transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a personal data breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India in accordance with the requirements of the DPDP Act.
10. Data Retention
We retain RFQ submissions for 7 years to support ongoing customer relationships, warranty obligations, and applicable statutory record-keeping. We retain Careers application data for 2 years unless you request earlier deletion. Aggregated analytics data is retained per Google Analytics default retention settings. On expiry of the retention period, personal data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
11. Your Rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct or update inaccurate information, to request erasure of your data (subject to our statutory retention obligations), to withdraw consent to processing, to nominate another individual to exercise these rights in the event of your death or incapacity, and to file a grievance with our Grievance Officer (see Section 12). We will respond to verified rights requests within 30 days of receiving them.
